2009-07-30 - Since the Gordon family purchased Gordon Mortuary in November of 2007, several upgrades have been implemented at the funeral home. We have upgraded the sound system in the chapel, the caskets we offer, the vaults we offer, and our selection room. We have also upgraded our website to a site that is very resourceful and gives bereaved families the opportunity to submit their loved one's information from the comfort of their own home, thus reducing the time they have to spend away from visiting friends and family members. Individuals wishing to pre-arrange their own funeral may also submit their information from home. Also, anyone wanting to get an idea about the price of a funeral can do so from our site and get a price for the options that they chose. The same system that allows us to offer this website is also going to allow us to soon upgrade our selection room further. We will be installing an Arrangement Room Kiosk that will allow you to see all of the personalization options that we offer and you can even see what the casket will look like with the options chosen.
