Obituary for Kenneth Everett Newton

Boiling Springs, SC -- Kenneth Everett Newton, 52, of 8141 9th Street, passed away Friday, June 23rd, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Deanna Humphries Newton and the son of Everett and Lynn Newton. Mr. Newton worked in plastic manufacturing and attended West End Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Newton is survived by one son, Kenneth Chase Newton, of Boiling Springs, SC; two daughters, Corie Martin and husband, Jon, of Gaffney and Summer Bennett and husband, Travis, of Spartanburg; one sister, Sandra Turner and husband, Scott, of Gaffney; one half-sister, Patti Fortenbary, of Gulfport, MS; three grandchildren, Cameron Bennett, Braylon Bennett, and Madison Martin.

The family will be holding a private memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kenneth Newton Funeral Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney, 211 E. Frederick St, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at their respective homes.
