Obituary for Richard Henderson

Spartanburg -- Richard Henderson, 63, of 530 Grove Road, passed away Friday, August 25th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the widower of Miranda Terry Henderson and the son of the late James Roland Henderson and Virginia Virl Wyatt Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a member of Golightly United Methodist Church.

Surviving Mr. Henderson is one daughter, Amanda Kimbrell, and husband, Craig, of Boiling Springs, SC, and two grandchildren, Makayla and Corey Kimbrell.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by a sister, Rita K. Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28th, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Golightly United Methodist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Richard Andrews officiating.

Memorials may be made to Golightly United Methodist Church, 2000 Highway 56, Spartanburg, SC 29302.

The family will be at their respective homes.
